Seminality Journal

Seminality

Seminality is an annual journal published by the New York Institute for the Humanities and Social Studies (New York City, USA).

Seminality is an international peer-reviewed journal that provides a platform for scholars and artists whose interests and research are generated by the urgency of critical re-examination of the limitations of the existing traditional canons of the humanities and social studies.

We believe that the necessity of their original re-imagination leads to a more ambitious and profound dialogue for change. How do we think and what responsibility do we cultivate towards the aesthetics of diversity, intercultural construction of knowledge, and the relationship with power? What would be the possible discursive and applicative modes that would bring possible responses to the cultivation of our current critical thinking, ideological narratives, and empathy today?

Seminality invites authors to submit their contributions that offer innovative and original focus, as well as meaningful dialogue from which the deconstruction of existing concepts, theories, and practices is possible to be developed for the future. We encourage authors to contribute with original scientific papers, book reviews, poetry, visual or other artwork, as well as any other related genres of creativity.

Deadline for submission:
