Dr. Vittorio Comelli is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Comelli received his doctorate in psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, completed his pre-doctoral training at the California Pacific Medical Center Adult Outpatient Psychiatry. Honored for his work, Dr. Comelli was a recipient of the post-doctoral health psychology fellowship at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in psycho-oncology. During years of his immersive professional experience, Dr. Comelli has substantial interest and clinical expertise working with adults, children, couples and groups with different cultural background and identities. In his practice, Dr. Comelli works closely with patients to address symptoms, behaviors, or general problems in living or relating to others through short term, focused approach and researching more in-depth open-ended long-term psychotherapy methods and practices. Dr. Comelli is an Assistant Director at UCSF’s School of Medicine Medical Students Well-Being Program and Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and School of Medicine.
