Dr. Zvonko Markovic is an award-winning researcher and expert in fashion design. Dr. Markovic is a world-renowned couturier with extensive experience in orchestrating all aspects of Pret-a-Porter and couture design invention. Dr. Markovic was one of the first to establish new methods of leather sculpting and apply this technique and esthetics in the fashion design industry.
Working with many different institutions, Dr. Markovic enhanced his work experience with significant experience working with production, financial and technical departments worldwide, defining distinguishable trendsetting lines of commercial and luxurious collections.
Dr. Markovic’s creations have been featured in international publications and his creations have been worn by numerous celebrities, Ashanti, Kylie Jenner, Draya Michele, Bailee Madison, and others, while his work has been in the focus of many significant publications in the industry.
Dr. Markovic was recently appointed as a Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Design in Belgrade, where he held courses in Fashion Design, and he is sought East European designer who presenter his designs on Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2015. Dr. Markovic exhibited and presented his work worldwide in Rome, New York, St Petersburg, Shanghai, while particulars of his work are included in the Contemporary Art Museum in Torun in Poland collection. Dr. Markovic is a winner of all national Serbian awards for fashion design and contribution for fashion, design, and lifetime achievement. For his extraordinary achievements, Dr. Markovic was laureate of the Leers Talents du Luxe et de la Création 2017 in the category Talent de l’invention, sponsored by the French Ministry of Culture and Media.
